I devoured it in one day, there was no way I was putting it down till the end. I was gutted at times, cried and even laughed. Q and Tess go through hell and back, they suffered through so much pain and grief to end up being perfectly twisted together. I didn't want this book to end, but it was perfect and everything I could've asked for in a conclusion. I hope that some day in the future Pepper will write something that will give us another glimpse of Q and Tess, cause these characters are hard to let go of."

From the ashes rises a phoenix, or two in this case. After Tess's capture, Q continues to heal her. Their connection deepens and their lives are finally seeming to calm. Tess isn't completely back to herself, but she's finding strength in accepting her past and moving forward despite the scars. Now, it's Q's turn. Faced with demons from his underground dealings that threaten to expose the humanitarian in him to the world, all of his former clients are out for blood. But he can't do it alone even though everything in him wants Tess to stay away from danger. It isn't physical strength that will see them through, not their wit nor words; it's a game of the mind, and to survive, they must keep hold of one another.
Twisted Together was where we really saw both characters, particularly Tess, strengthen in all aspects. She was stronger than ever and everything's she went through led up to proving herself as Q's equal. Volume three spotlighted the mental fortitude of the characters and their love for each other. As always, Pepper Winters continues to amaze me with her debut series! The pacing was steady, the scenes gritty, and as always, sinfully sensual.

I'm experiencing mixed feelings right now, as I'm not sure I'm ready to say goodbye to these characters!
Tess and Q's final story was filled with strife, love, and sexy goodness (as can be expected from Ms.Winters)- it was thrilling, to say the least.
I laughed, I screamed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat, and my heart soared. I'm in awe of the author that can make me experience ALL of this in 1 book.
This is an epic, dark, love story about 2 people whom find their "forever" in the arms of their PERFECT match.

There is really nothing more beautiful then that. - Ok. So I loved Tears of Tess and Quintessentially Q. What the heck happened with Twisted Together? Pepper Winters, I love your writing but I don't understand why this book was so messy. It seemed to start out ok, but then another kidnapping? This book was like walking through molasses for me. I couldn't really get into it. There was TOO MUCH inner dialogue that bored me to death. I expected this book to be more about Tess and Q getting to know each other and their pasts or going and freeing slaves that Tess was with in Mexico. But no, it wasn't. ****SPOILER ALERT****
The most disappointing part for me was the wedding. This is when the straw broke MY camel's back! The beautiful white wedding turned into a leash and collar Rocky Horror Picture Show with Tess in a corset and half naked at her own wedding. Tess's white wedding dress got ripped off of her to only show the wedding guests Tess's black corset and lingerie. This is how she greeted Barx and said her final "I do". Q's white tux was also ripped off of him. Who does that? Oh, it was meant to reveal their true dark nature. Again, who shows their dark sex life to their wedding guests? Oh yes, she was also collared like a dog with a leash on her wedding day in front of EVERYONE. WHT? Also, I know this is a fiction, but for god's sake, who the hell walks out of the hospital the day after being beaten inches from death, face distorted, body slashed with cuts, broken ribs, bruised spine, cut tongue, waterboarded and gets married on a tropical island! Huh? Ok, so I lost it. I was already 85% through the book and couldn't just stop there or else I would have. The ending, however, was decent. I expected far more of the ending throughout the book. To sum it up, this book was a huge disappointment to me.
